What is ACT code?

I get this check engine code 114 ACT out of self test range in both KOEO and KOER tests. I also got a 173 and 177 running rich code. Not sure why shes running rich, maybe because I didnt let her warm up before I started driving it? 211 PIP circuit. I guess this is my crank sensor? I know the water pump is starting to leak..

air charge temp - the temperature of the air entering the engine. there is a sensor on the side of the air filter housing that provides that information to the pcm.

my experience is that these engines will not run properly without a act sensor connected.

pip code means you need to change the crank sensor before you end up stranded. and change the water pump when you change the crank sensor or else you will get to do it all again soon.

running rich could be related to the act problem or could be o2 sensors or several other things.
