1. You can wire it back together with mechanic's wire.
2. You can use one of the clips from the bottom of the hood strut to keep it on.
3. You can find new cables.
4. You can convert to a rod shifter.

I ordered a bushing from SHOSource that should help. I can't do a temp job as I am looking to sell it.
