I think that having smoked tails + tint + shaved emblems and trunk lock would look damn sexy. And having a single "SHO" emblem in the middle would kinda be neat.
Gen 3 SHOs are nothing but big circles and having body lines and badges hurt the look. I think a completely shaved, lowered, tinted SHO would be to die for...

I debadged mine except for a Yamaha blue oval where the Ford one was on the trunk. The trunk lock was shaved too seeing as the key never worked.....

Got it lowered but Illinois tinting laws are screwed (unless you are a policeman:rolleyes: ) so I don't do that.

Nightshades is very easy to use. Remove the taillights, clean them up nice and good, spray on a thin coat, let dry, repeat till desired shade is reached, re-install. My taillights are done medium dark, light bar reflectors done dark

Never clearcoated nightshades. Never had a flat look to it either. in fact, 4 years ago I did my side marker lights, they still look fresh

I suppose no probs with cops where you are Randy ? some parts of VA are pretty stringent but I don't think I'd get hassled too badly

I used VHT Nightshades on my taillights, and the tops of them started to fade pretty badly. In some parts, the Nightshades it entirely gone. However, the sidemarkers, which were done at the same time, showed no sign of fading. I would recommend that you use clear-coat on the taillights.

Also, I just recently took my sidemarkers and sanded them down, removing the raised SAE and Ford logos. I was also able to completely remove the Nightshades, so I guess if you screw up the taillights aren't totally lost.
