OK.. I will be driving and I can feel the car surges when i give it gas. And sometimes it will do it while at idle speeds! So far I have done the following Replaced the plugs and wires the plugs is motorcraft now and wires is borg n warner along with the gasket's. I also replaced the crank position sensor along with water pump! Its a 94 ATX with 113K. No codes in the computer!

My car used to surge under accelleration because of the A/C Compressor kicking in. It would do it whenever I had the A/C on or when I had the heat on and set to defrost or vent I think. I don't know what kind of surging your getting, but it might be something to do with the comrpessor clutch kicking in.

It's weird that this was just posted.
I had a similar problem with my `95 ATX.
A can of refridgerant boost fixed the problem.
The ac compressor was cycling way too much at highway speeds because the R134a was somewhat low. A can of boost with o-ring conditioner fixed what I thought was a seperate problem with the engine.
How cool is that!?!?
