Seems everyone is in build/rebuild mode, and we are seeing tons of part installs and go fast goodies getting ordered daily.

Where do you want to see yourself this season? Are you wanting to look good for the car show, get a new personal best at the track/road course, or just planning to enjoy your car on the street?

Personally, I'm looking to hit 11.7s this year, with or without my seats lol.

How about you?

I want to go into the 11's full weight, stock turbos, with a quarter tank of fuel. Pretty sure it will take the upgraded HPFP to do however.

I want to upgrade my HPFP the the XDI60 (and possibly tank fuel pump) run full e85 with my multistage meth and turbo upgrades. I may also spray a bit more meth pre turbo (1gph nozzels to 2gph nozzels)

Will this require injectors as well to run full e85?

Depends on your tuner. Ortiz Performance is doing it with just the XDI35, others claim they require the XDI60, injectors and in-tank pump.
Nice plug.....Ortiz. . I will be hitting you up for a tune. I checked out you guys site a few months ago. I love my Gearhead tune, but I'm not married to 1 tuner.

My goal is to have a perfect light this year. I had a .0007 last summer, but unfortunately it was at a track that has 4 digits instead of 3.

As for personal bests, I won't be making any runs at that until fall when the temps cool back off.

1st goal, more consistent 60ft times. I've analyzed my sequence and I think what I'm doing wrong...when I try to reaction time...is I am purposely easing into the throttle as I brake boost....Im worried I'll pull forward and red light. But I think I need to mash my brake and fully commit to the gas...quick and firm push down...instead of easing into it....so I stop this 1.8 BS! The majority of the time I'm not launching hard enough. My worst last year was a 2.0 and my best was a 1.72.

2nd goal, go faster.

Ok can we go over this so I am not confused. The first yellow light is shallow stage? Second light is deep stage?

Deep stage the second light will go out.

Shallow stage is after the first light is lit you inch forward just far enough to turn the second light on. Once the second light is on you don't go any farther forward.

I think that's what I usually do but I'll be more mindful of that.

It might hurt your reaction time to the light, but the further back you start from the timing light, the lower your ET will be because you're getting a running start. Took me more trips down the track than I care to admit before I understood that concept.

We've got a decent road course here, and I've never had one of my own cars on it. I'd like to give it a go this year with the sho.
