We actually have an official club now? OMG Tom, I had no idea, next thing you know, we might meet on a regular basis.
Perhaps I can create my own SHO club in Flagstaff......I can call it "the force of one" as I represent nearly 100% of the SHO's up here. or "mountain top motorsports".

I lived in AZ for 5 years in the 80's so i hope you don't get offended if i post here this little pic that i put together for you guys, would look good in other colors as well.

I did some drawing back when I was still in NY for the club. I did not really finish it, but Tom has finished and put it into effect on some shirts we will have made. I personally like the design, hope the shirts turn out well!

A big thanks to Beth for providing us our own e-stomping grounds here. This should help us to keep in touch, especially for get-togethers, part inventory, etc. Between Tom and Jason it seems like we have a pretty good parts knowledge base, among other things... wink

What the heck is going on? Did I accidently hit the alternate language button on my remote control? Sheesh, Eric passes a few Porsches on the track on Sunday and he's El Conquistadore on Monday.
Just messing with you Eric. Had a great time at the races with you and Mike.
Gotta say though, with all of my 19 years of Defensive Driver Training while at the Phone Company, I was pretty darn nervous to be in the passenger seat with absolutely no control over gas, brakes or steering, and then to ride the rear bumper of lesser cars like Porsches and Corvettes.
What a rush.

Ya, much fun. Since the NASCAR West guys left when it rained, the organizers opened up the last two hours of the schedule for continuous open track. Woohoo! The track had dried nicely by then and the last session, IMHO, was the best of the day. I don't think the SHO has ever handled that well before.
Passed some more Porsches, passed Mike in his S2000 (oops, probably shouldn't say that here...), and hung with that Lotus Elise all the way from turn 9 around the oval through 1 and into 2. Couldn't quite keep up with him in the twisty bits, though.
The NASA schedule has us going back to PIR in May. Not sure if there are any local NASA events until then. Might have to join PAS and go play at Firebird again...
Darn, wish I could have made it... Sounds like you guys had a great time.
On another note... My Air National Guard package was dissapproved due to manning issues... Looks like I am stuck here for awhile. I will, however, be coming home soon for about 3 weeks to finish the damn car so I can use it up here.
I'll let you know when I get in town.
EDIT: I recently found out that they are doing this "Force Shaping" thing in 4 stages... Looks like I will have 3 more chances to apply for the Az Air National Guard... We'll see what happens.
