Weird window problem

I recently use my car and my moonroof just stop working when i park my car a school. But after couple of hour i took it back and it work fine.

But now all the windows and moonroof don't open anymore (but door lock are good).......and even if i don't push any button it smell like plastic is burning somewhere in the car (or maybe outside because when i get out of the car it smell also and sometime even more!

does anyone have this problem and give me some little hint on where i should look first


(fo now i will take the window and moonroof fuse out and relay in the hood,.......to prevent fire.. but i don't know what to do after that)

First I would get a wiring chart and see what wires all the switchs have in common, if any. What year car ?

check all of your fuses first...they prevent fires from starting...they blow first. but sometimes for stupid reasons, so try a new one

My car is a 95............and i take out some fuse and it seem less problematic......but i realize that now my window work but my moonroof each time i press the switch my light in my dash go down a little......i'll try to look at my moonroof, but it seem very weird............and it alway smell plastic that burn but outside the car ?!%.........and can't seem to find where it come from
