I've got a 94 atx and now when i turn or go on bumpy road, there was a sweaking sound coming from the left front wheel area- now its moved to both front right and left wheel areas.Only when i turn , go over bumps, or when the car rebounds from going down hills etc.- I'll hear this sweaking sound.Does anyone know what my problem is?I pushed down on the car and it rebounds back with little sway like normal but that sound accompanys it.what should i check for?I hope its not the cv joints or shocks or worse. Please help!-Alaric

I'm thinking CV joints. I think the CV joints sound more like repetative small thumping, but I guess they could be labeled as squeaking. Check the boots and see if they are leaking. If there is fluid all around them or they are split open, then I'd say it's a good chance that's what it is. Other than that, I'm not sure.

Same problem

Yeah, I have the same exact problem...the squeaking whenever turning or driving on bumpy roads and what not. I figured it was the tie rod ends. Can anybody give me an estimate on how much it'll cost to fix the squeak?
