Ok,

I just got my new SHO yesterday. Part of the deal was that the alignement get fixed. When I test drove it it pulled slightly to the right.

When it was delivered yesterday the guy said the alignment was within spec and ok. So they switched the front tires around and now it was pulling to the left.

So after taking it home last night it is pulling hard to the left. I switched the tires around and its now pulling pretty good (not as bad) to the right.

Does anybody know what tire it could be? I mean does this indicate either the right or left tire?? I hate to have to go buy a set of 2 or even 4 new tires these are pretty new looking goodyears.

Yes the tire pressure is fine before anybody asks. all at 38 psi they were off yesterday but iItook care of that.

Any ideas?

you probably need new tires; and you can't tell anything by just looking at them; have them checked on a balance machine; important - tell them to leave the weights on and check the roundness first before removing them too, (otherwise you don't know where you were to start with) They can also then tell if a rim is bent. I've had a new set of SP5000's replaced under warrantee after they did the same and they looked fine on the outside. also, 38 psi sounds pretty high for the street.

Have the tire checked by a professional. As stated above yoou may have a bent wheel, or a tire that has belt separation problems. rangerj

ok,

I am in the process of getting the alignment checked just to be sure. Butr I was told by two seperate ford dealers that the rim probably is not bent as it would just cause a shimmy not a pull.

I will keep everyone updated.

I need a balance this car has sat for a little while and I am sure thats one problem.
