Ok, so in the last 3 days my car has randomly just not been starting up after i have been driving it for about 20 minutes. I will drive it somewhere and it will run perfectly ill go in the store or my house come out within 5-10 minutes try to start it, it will start up and die right away. When i turn the key to the on position i cant hear the fuel pump like you usually can. But the weird thing is after about an hour of letting it sit it starts right back up. Ive been trying to figure it out without having to replace the fuel pump because it starts working again after an hour.

i too have that same prob , i hope someone will chime in here. ive been thinking it might be due to dirty fuel injectors , so i have been running a few injector cleaning bottles through it - kinda cleared it up a bit , but did not fix the prob , just helped a little bit.

Any check engine light? Maybe you need to check your codes, It sounds a lot like the symptoms of a bad crank sensor as well.

Crank sensor, or cam posttioning sensor will give you the same types of issues. I doubt it is your fuel pump.

Back from the dead because it just started doing it again I checked the codes, all i got was
335-PFE feedback signal is/was out of range
551- IAC circuit board failure

After a while i checked the codes again and the only code i got was the 335 yet it still wouldnt start
