Weird noise coming from driver side of engine

I have a 93 sho and I’m having a issue where the engine almost sounds like it’s nitrous purging at idle and it throws smoke out of the engine bay every 30 or so seconds, car isn’t throwing any codes, isn’t over heating, but it does dump a bunch of white smoke out of the exhaust everytime it does it. It went away when I started driving

Also started leaking small amount of oil after this started happening
