So i got done rebuilding m rear susp and and it wants to sit funny. Ive got one side that sits like it should and ive got the other side thats sitting about a full inch lower. Thing rides awful, is scary as **** to drive do to it bouncing around.

I just put all my rear susp stuff off my 92 which never had this issues which is: ingalls, h brace, Moogs -1/2, OEM struts, poly bushings strut rod bushings, ingalls sway bar endlinks and bushings, and new sturt mounts.

So what i have i done?? I'll get some pics of the difference in ride height. It needs an alignment but i dont wanna do it with it sitting funny or is the ingalls needing the adjustment causing this? Ergh.

More photos of the back. You can see the tab on the sturt is in a different. Could that be the issue?

Order of sides is the same as the above post.

Umm, maybe the springs rotated and are not seated properly. but I would never go to all that time and effort and re use 20 year old OEM struts, especially with cut moogs. You can get new sensatracks delivered for under 100 bucks a pair.

hmm ride height is determined mainly from the springs, so my guess is one of them is not seated properly either on the strut bottom, or the mount. OE struts do not have the valving to keep up with cut springs though, and they will wear out quickly.

It has to be the spring. When you put the new mounts on you maybe didnt get one of them seated properly. Did you pull the springs off the struts? Could one be upside down now?

I see rust on both wheel wells. Check to see if you have any rot up on the towers.

Alright i'll the springs for how they are seated.

I didnt see any rot on the towers the rust on this car is all pretty superficial. And i am taking steps to stop it where it is.

Okay went a seated the spring it had twisted a little in the perch and it made the ride height pretty darn close so on that front i think im good.

And then i went and worked a little on the alignment and it seams to have taken care of the crazy wandering all over the road. Gonna call in for a proper alignment tomorrow and be done for a bit.
