Have been following some of tompumped's threads, and he discovered his diff pins broke and it was causing a rattling that would occur in neutral. The only way the noise would go away is if either the clutch was pressed in, or the shifter was pushed forward towards any gear. I have the exact same symptoms except I have a wavetrac so I doubt its a diff pin issue. Does anyone else with a wavetrac have slight rattling in neutral? and.. is this normal?

I have a wavetrac, but dont have any noise coming from it. A while back I remember reading that Josh's ceramic tob would make noise at idle with the clutch out. Could this be what's causing yours?

Could be, it's made the noise ever since I did the clutch and wavetrac together. Not using a ceramic TOB, just the stock deal that came with the valeo clutch. Noise drives me nuts... makes the car sounds like a s*itbox
