So my 2013 SHO with just below 99K miles developed a coolant leak. Dealer says the water pump is the cause, glad I have 5K of warranty left because the total bill is just north of $2,000 to repair.

What I find strange is that everything I've read on the 3.5 motors in general, is that if the water pump leaks, is the coolant goes straight in the oil pan. Don't catch it in time, it will destroy the motor.

Bed design but true I have a 2010 Sho non PP and with about 93000 miles going down the highway the temperature started to rise so I pulled over but it was already too late. The head gasket blew so the car was towed to the dealer thankfully I have the extended warranty but during tear down the dealer found damage to one of the cams and the first thing the warranty company asked was there metal in the oil filter and to check the end play on the crank. Metal shavings in the oil filter but I'm not sure about the crank measurement. Thankfully the dealer got me a new engine and two new turbos under warranty. Good luck.
