Where can I get the block to water pump O ring? My ford dealer says they don't make them anymore, but suggested that I check out a hydrolic supply store. Is there any aftermarket company's making this part?

Thanks,
toby

Take your old o-ring to any auto parts store, they should carry it. I can't remember the size off hand.

The o-rings are included in the Fel-Pro ES70425 water pump gasket kit, which is about $5-$10 at most auto parts retailers. It also has the water pump and inlet gaskets.

You don't mention what motor/year you had. The set is listed for the 3.0L, but is the same for the 3.2L, so they may have to look it up under an MTX to find it at some stores, or just have them look by the part #.

As for the "bring it to the store & match it up", I haven't had much luck doing this. Luckily, Josh T let me have 4 of them when I told him they were d/c'd.

Thanks for the aftermarket find Chris.

go to the hardware store...take your old one...match up and when you install it add a little sealant on it.

cost of o ring at hardware: .12

cost of sealant 1.29
