Water Pump Model Number

Hey all
Does the SHO use a 7 vane or 11 vane water pump?? RockAuto shows the 11 vane for the SHO, but doesn't sell any Motorcraft, and sells several for the NA 3.5, but they seem to be 7 vane
My question is which water pump did you wind up using, OEM preferred.

I used the Cloyes kit (CLOYES 90738SBWP). If you are doing the water pump, you will be taking the chain off so you might as well replace it all. I do not remember how many vanes it was.

Not sure if it matters but if you look closely at the gasket, there is a difference. On the Motorcraft, the slot and hole are connected (no seal between them). On the Gates, the hole is isolated and the slot is isolated.

I thought they only offered OE replacement pumps not HD or any kind of upgrade. I think you mean the oil pump.
