As per the title I am getting water (a lot) in my drivers side floor. Before I was having trouble with the trunk and rear passenger side, but now the drivers side is soaked. What could be my problem? And no its not anti freeze. It's water.

Fix the rear leak? Leaks are usually seals like door, or glass like moonroof or windshield. I also managed to get a ton of water by driving through standing water that can come in through the bottom of the door or, in my case, the subframe recall kit has a large round hole with a plug in the floorpan that got dislodged and let in a bunch of water. The trunk is usually rubber lid seal or taillight housing seal or roof drains on 4 corners. You need to check the roof for seal or drains leaking.

The drivers side door is not really aligned properly. I am guessing water is getting in through there.

Common for the seal around the windshield to start leaking. Might be time to get it resealed.

Great first the back window now the windshield... this car is becoming more of a hassle than it’s worth.

That's a feeling alot of us get. I have a low mile car that has all kinds of stuff that needs tending to. Defeats the purpose of looking for a really low mile car.

Well when I got this car it had about 100k miles on it (3 years ago). Well that and a deer impact on the drivers side as well. If it wasn't for the fact this car gets damn good gas mileage and does't have anything majorly wrong with it other than smelling like swamp ass because of the bathtub in my trunk (the spare tire was actually submerged under water until I drained it), and my feet floating because the drivers side floor is soaked I would have gotten rid of it.

Yeah. A deer hit will mess up panel alignment.

When I had a ton of water get in my 94 several years ago, I had to pull the carpet and pad and treat it with borax and dry them out in the sun. It was a long process. You need to track down the leak with one person with a hose and one inside the car if possible.

My 91 had a very slow leak on the drivers side. I didn't even know about it until I pulled the A Pillar to paint it. I was driving the car in the rain one day after that(pillar still removed) and a slow drop started hitting my leg. Before I pulled the trim it would just run down the inside of it down to the carpet.

I had a similar constant damp carpet on the driver side. I think what finally fixed it was pulling out both the top door rubber rail and inside rubber door weather seal, scrubbing the channels and the rubber clean of pine needles and moldy funk with scrub brushes and a shop vac, and then re-installing them with RTV gasket sealant on their metal lips. Lubricate the seal surface with dielectric grease. Also, a tweak to the door strike pin (and maybe even the hinges) to keep the door tight and positioned lower if necessary.

If you park near trees, the windshield motor/air intake space between the hood and windshield can have the drain holes on either side clogged with debris, and water will pool. A poor seal around the passenger side air intake or the factory body panel sealer can leak, or worse, you go through a car wash and it overflows. Good to take off the wipers, the plastic grilles, and clean this out regularly with a vacuum, long screwdrivers, scrub brushes, etc.

The inside of the doors are also not water-tight. They have drain slots on the bottom that can get plugged up, and water will collect in the door. Clean those holes out with a pipe cleaner. Since I park on a hill, I added another drain hole in the front corners.

I had a similar problem with my 2015 at around 65-K miles. Turns out the drain for the moonroof was clogged. To it to the dealer and it has been dry in SHO land every since.

Check to see if your headliner is damp or there are stains up there by the driver side sunvisor and along the left side next time it rains or run a hose along the moonroof. Also either snap out the driver side a-pillar trim or put a towel at the gap between the bottom of it where it meets the door and close the door on it.

If either is wet or damp and you don't notice any obvious leaks from the windshield it could be something as simple as the moonroof drain hose coming loose or getting clogged. All it is is a vacuum hose that is clamped to step down that clamps to a hole at the driver side front corner of the moonroof cavity that runs down the a-pillar side and dumps it outside the car. A common problem that causes water only on the driver side footwell is that hose comes loose from the clamp or dries out and breaks, and rainwater beads that get in the gaps from the moonroof enters the hole and follows the headliner and drips down the a-pillar over the hood release behind the carpet and won't show it's wet until a significant amount has built up.

You can head to any auto parts store and replace them for under $10. The only annoying thing about it is you have to drop the headliner board from the front (doesn't need to be all the way) and remove the interior moonroof trim to reach it, which involves having to remove the sunvisors and overhead console without breaking anything. If you search the forum there's a post with pictures somewhere showing what's involved.
