Washing Inside headlights

Okay i heard once that you can was the inside of head light lenses but you need to add something to the water to keep it from leaving spots. Do you know what you add. Was it like bleach or windex or window washer fluid something like that. Anyone remember. I got water in mine and there are numerous waterspots. Wanted to flush them out before i decide to break open the seal.

Wash them out with mild soap and water then use rubbing alcohol for a rinse. You may want to rinse it a few times then dry for a few hours.

Rinse with distilled water then with 90% isoproponal alcohol (or everclear)
