Well, I wanted some solid numbers, so I datalogged 2 runs, one with the canned tune w/o meth, and one with the 4th revision meth tune. I did 0-80, and using the datalog numbers, I got 8.6 with meth tune, and 8.9 with no meth canned tune. This doesn't seem like a big enough difference, but I'm new to this. Is this "improvement" in time about right, or is something wrong here?

Average meth users typically see a .5-.6 improvement in their times.... so you're relatively close.

Could be variations in tune, variations in nozzle sizes, etc.

But again, you're not to far off.

I'm using the biggest nozzle that came with the kit, I think it was a #6, which was recommended for my h.p. range. Should I be using bigger? Torrie said I am maxed out on my boost, even if I were to blend some E85. He says no more boost.

I am not familiar with the kit Torrie uses, or his tunes, so I am unable to answer for you.

Maybe others will chime in for you.

Good luck.

I always used the cheapest winter (-20) washer fluid I could find and it seemed to work well.

I picked up about 4 tenths in the 8th with torries tune. If the weather is cold he isn't going to max out the boost.

You're also like 6,000 ft ASL, so the cooler weather is doing you more good as you're working your turbo harder up here for the same boost as the guys down low.
