Hey guys, some of you locals met me recently out at Dooleyville, those who didn't will probably meet me Nov. 20th. Anyway, if anyone would like their MTX rebuilt, I will be able to do it in class with the assistance of an expert tranny man. I have even been authorized to install a LSD if you would like. The only cost to you would be any hardparts that might be needed...labor is free. I don't need to secure a transmission from outside school, we have great training aids (to include MTX IVs), but thought it would nice to do for my local SHO community. The only catch is I will only be in this class till Nov 19th so I would need the transmission soon to make sure it can be in my schedule. If you are interested, post here or PM me.
see ya'll later

Chris,

Can I get back to you later this week on it? I have one ready to go right now, but I was going to save it in case Bizzy came down this winter. I don't have a Quaife for it yet either. I have a second MTX but it's not pulled yet, and the third one is coming from Tucson next week.

I would install a ATB, not the infamous exploding LSD :D

Tom, how much would you be looking to get for a spare tranny? I'd like to have a spare.

Thanks,

Tom, I had you at the top of the list, if you need it done and the stars align right, I would be more than happy to rebuild one for you. Just let me know, when you know.

The wife just told me last week that I had better get that spare tranny from Tom before he offers it to someone else. Consider the POS tranny sold. Tom: since there is such a demand for MTX trannys, you wanna go to the yard and start pluckin them out of those 2 SHO's that are left? I would be more than happy to help. The wife is coming down with me on the 20th (in fact we are going to make a weekend out of it and rent a cheap hotel in town friday night, then come out to the Villa san Dooley in the morning).

Chris:
What a great offer! Too bad I don't have a spare unit I would take you up on it. What a great resource you are to our group. ATX's now MTX's, with you doing tranies and Dusty doing 60s we can drive SHO's forever in AZ.

BTW:
Saw the new Mustang GT up close today here in Motown. Guys it is going to be hard not having one. I need to find some more "toy space". Anybody got some covered storage for rent cheap?? :****:
