Want to upgrade the wiring.

So even after a new battery that SHO is slow too start. im thinking its the wires. i want too switch to high quality 2 or 4 gauge. Would like too know what ill i have to do. my wires have green death all in them so i think this would be the problem

the starter alternator ground etc. all that runs too the battery
