MoonRoof related... Need To Make Sure....

Hey,
The board/wires on the back of the original moonroof switch gets taken off how? I assume that the only thing that gets soldered to the new switch poles is the original wiring, right?
The board does not get used again, correct? I have been to the website that has this mod but he makes no mention of the computer board on the back or how to remove it ... (i am to assume with the soldering tool, but want to know for sure. I don't want to break anything.)
Anything else I should know?

Hopefully this all works out. I'd love not to worry about it again. :)

Thanks.

** Also, the 'cage' that the switch goes into is no longer secure. What type of glue does everyone use to Make SURE this 'cage' won't come apart again?? I tried an epoxy mix, that did not work.
Thanks.

so i guess no one has any thoughts on this huh?

I did notice in the pics that the circuit board is not there. So there is that I guess.

As for better glue..... I guess I'll close my eyes and pick one.

I just soldered a switch to the wires. Here is the temporary fix that I never un-temped.
