But with what? Well the first things on my list are sfc's from prosuspension.com. I also want to replace my sfb's, now im a little confused, is the Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings the same as a aluminum sfb kit from midwestsho? I would like polyurethane instead of aluminum....What would be the best way to go for sfb's? On to springs and struts. I want a confortable ride, i was thinking of a inthrax/Tokico combo. What combo would be bets for a good ride with good performacne? Now what about sway bars? Will i need to figure out what size i have or would i know from the production date? (4-90) Are strut tower braces worth the $$$? Front and back??? Im pretty confused on this subject and if anyone could give me advice on how to make my sho perform without sacraficing comfort, that would be mighty cool... thumb

Go for the eibach/Tokico.

Your sway bars are fine i believe the gen ones came with the 24/26mm combo.

The energy suspension bushings are for your sway bars.[that would be good.]

Strut tower braces B/F[get them from Kirk/JT.]

H-brace from prosuspension.

The aluminum subframe bushings i cant judge yet as i have them still a box.

Don't forget tires play a big part. :)

'm getting close to completing my suspension and the ride has gotten pretty firm. Its nice on smooth roads but 880 was a killer near Oakland.

I would start with.
eibach/Tokico combo with a good alignment.
Then SFC, RSTB, FSTB.
Follow it up with sway bar bushings and Alum SFB.
Last would be the Rear Adj Arms with H-Brace.

Start with the SFC's. Then go to the springs and struts. Either Tokico/Eibach, or Intrax/Koni. Both are proven to be very good, but the Intrax is a rougher ride.

STB's don't really make a difference, unless both are done at the same time.

The aluminum SFB's really help with turn in repsonse. But you have to drive hard to find out wink .

And talk to Fred, he says the 29mm rear bar from SHOSHOP was definitely worth the money.

I would get the subframe connectors, then sticky tires. After that replace the bushings, tie rods. Lastly the springs and struts.

i would definately go with aluminum SFB's. also IPT sells a 26mm front/28mm rear sway bar combo.
they also sell coilovers which i would get if you dont mind the $900 plus struts. and tired play a huge part. if you dont mind the speedo being slightly off i would go with 225/50/16 tires.
heres a link to see how far off your speedo will be with whatever tire size you get.

Tires and wheels play a HUGE part. After you make your suspension mods seriously consider ditching your slicers and getting wider wheels with good ultra high performance rubber. You don't have to get the most outrageous max performance tire on there to transform the car. A value priced ultra-high performance tire like the Yokohama AVS ES100 on a wider rim will do just fine. It amuses me when people spend a small fortune on suspension upgrades for the SHO and then stop short by sticking with the stock slicers with an ultra high performance tire. With suspension modifications in place and wider wheel/tire combination really takes things to the next level. It's as big a difference from going from modified suspension/stock wheels to modified suspension/wider wheels-better rubber as it is going from stock suspension/stock wheels to modified suspension/stock wheels. People sell themselves short by stopping short when it comes to upgrading the wheels/tires.

WRT the SFBs, if you don't want to go with aluminum then your best bet would be using the GenIII rear SFB in all four corners. Go to the shonut website and you'll see that they have the GenIII SFB option for the Gen I/II cars. I don't know if Delrin SFBs are made any more and I wouldn't bother with them. If you want Delrin get Aluminum instead. Or talk to Josh at shonut about it, he knows 100X more than I do what's what with these cars. I don't think anybody makes polyurethane SFBs for the SHO.

As much as I hate to admit it, shojuan ain't all that dumb. boink Never skimp on #1-wider wheels. #2-better tires.
After that, almost any mod will increase your handling capabilities. I've found the STB will allow you to get on the throttle exiting an apex more quickly. SFC will rally stiffen up the car, letting the four corners work more efficiently. Eibach springs and Koni struts help in ride control. And I am a personal fan of the 19mm front/26mm rear sway bars. The totally neutral feel the setup gives you on the slalom is a wonderful feeling. Many may argue against this but whatever lack of grip as opposed to bigger bars I feel is minimal.

But if I had a couple grand to sink for suspension mods, it would be a Quaife and wider wheels and sticky tires. Oh wait, I did. doh
