W/M consumption? SCT tuner gauge accuracy?

How much water meth are your setups using on average? I have the Devils Own Stage two set up to begin spraying 15% at 6 psi and 100% close to 9PSi. I run through about two quarts a day even under normal non aggressive driving.

There are no leaks and I have seen some good power gains, thanks to Torrie for tuning. Its just the sheer consumption methanol I am worried about. I'm popping the hood everyday to refill and spending 45 bucks on 5 gallons of VP 100% meth more often than I would like.

One thing I did notice is that the system is spraying much sooner than when the W/M system dial is set to. Using my handheld SCT it seems the system begins spraying as soon as 2-3 PSI which would obviously lead to a lot of W/M us since I'm in that range almost always. how accurate is the SCT handheld? I think it would be really close since its getting data from cars computer.

Talked to Devils Own, they confirmed the numbers on the dial are start and full spray PSI numbers and suggested a manual boost gauge to verify and adjust.

Any ideas and what are your thoughts? Thanks again.

I have snow stage 2 tuned by Torrie@unleashed. I'm on the big nozzle. Around town I'm running 8 on full 12 for logging or a dig I'm running 6 on 8 full. I had him turn up the boost much sooner. So it is easy for me to use up to 7lb driving around before the meth kicks on. I use 0 driving the car normally. But it's there if I step on it. But I'm also using an e 20 blend

If I'm in the meth my car blows threw that shit I wanna say 2 quarter runs will **** 3 qts but I will confirm tomorrow @ the track as for the gauge it's about 2lbs off from my sct that's compared to mech ford racing boost gauge

Thanks to you both I plan on adding a AEM boost and W/M flow gauge soon, dialing in the the revised settings and retuning. Sorry Torrie, a great race tune which I plan on finishing out. Then retuning for daily driving. consuming 2QTs a day is just a bit much in my opinion of course.

I would be very interested in seeing what happens when you check this out.

I looked at the specs on Snow Performance Stage 2 Meth Injection and the largest nozzle option is 625 mL/min. Assuming one quarter mile run is 15 seconds (so 2 runs is 1/2 minute and easy math) that should only be a maximum of 313 mL of flow or 1/3 qts. That flow rate would give you 18 runs on 3 quarts. If you run a 12.5 time and run through 3 quarts, that's a flow rate of 6,813 mL/min (roughly 10x the flow rating in the kit).
