still no luck with spout problem> found a loose wire on PCM harness comes from pin 36 can anyone tell me what this wire goes to?

that could be related to your problem - it goes to the 8 pin round connector that has 5 wires to/from it. (it is on the end on the side w/ only 2 wires in it). from that connector it goes to the other shorting bar that is under the hood.
Pin 36 is EEC SPOUT signal to DIS pin 5, Y/LG wire. Diagrams below. Important signal!
The EEC reads base timing information from the CPS and CID sensors, and uses that information to compute the timing for the spark output signal (SPOUT) that is sent to the DIS pin 5. IIRC, If the SPOUT signal is missing at the DIS, the DIS runs in a fixed timing "get home" mode, but don't hold me to that, not 100% sure. You can check for the SPOUT signal using a LED (not incandescent) 12V test light.
