I was thinking of getting ventvisors for my sunroof and windows. What do you guys think of them. And should I get the ones that use tape to hold them on or the ones that clip on?

I like the way the window ones look but i very much so dis-like the sun/moon roof visors. I guess everybody has there own preference. Find a picture on cardomain maybe of somebody that has them. thats where i usually check to see if i would like something on a car! :thumb:

Nay, on some cars they do look good, but the Taurus isn't one of them.

We have a set of Weatherflectors on my parents Odyssey minivan, and they look great on it.

I saw a white SLO with the ventvisors on the sunroof and windows, and it looked like ***. At the time, I too was contemplating putting them on my SHO. They usually look good on trucks and stuff, I'm thinking about picking up a pair for my g/f's Blazer.

I guess Ill be the odd man out here. I liked them on my wagon when it was just a GL. The windows were really dark and you couldnt see them from afar. Reason I liked them was because you could leave all 4 of your windows cracked and let some of the Texas heat out in the summer. Another thing I liked was that when you were cranking on the system you could roll the windows down and "tune" the cabin if you will.

Side note the VentVisor brand actually fitted up inside the window channels. Very secure.

They do help a lot, especially for cars/shos w/o a/c. The rear visors are almost useless. The only tng I do not like with them is, it creates more noise when you have the window down or slightly down, from experience.

I got a set on my car....and I have some pics on my cardomain site. I like them b/c I smoke and when its raining, they are great...also just cracking the windows in the rain is good. I got them really cheap (like 10 bucks for the 4 windows), so thats why I got them...not new of course. Mine fit into the window channels...and I used some 3M tape I think it was from autozone...havnt had a problem with one falling off yet. (My dad cracked the drivers rear though by leaning on it). I have pulled on them with the windows down and they wont pop off.

Personally...I dont like it more with them or without...2 different looks that I like equally...but now with a benefit.

Little Linky Link

My other SHO came with the sunroof one (dont know if there is a pic on page 5 or not) Personally, not a fan of that one.

I had them on the windows of my black 92 and they looked pretty decent. Definitely go with the ones that fit inside the window channel. They were nice when it was raining and you wanted the windows open still. I don't like to use the AC unless I have to, and the vent just blows air thats the same temp as outside when its warmer out. I liked being able to crack the windows a little too in the parking lot. For 1 foot away, you couldn't tell they were open. You do get more wind noise from them though, which was the only thing I didn't like. I wouldn't put them on a light colored car though, and I'm not crazy about the sunroof ones either.

My car has them on all four windows and on the sunroof. At first, I was thinking about taking them off, but they've grown on me. I think they look good, the one on the sunroof cuts down on the buzzing of the metal deflector, but does have its own noise it makes. I deal with it, and I think they look alright, but it is on a black car.
