Valve stem seal replacement tips

I am going to be replacing my valve stem seals starting tomorrow or the day after depending how busy I am with work. Does anyone have any tips to offer.

Use the SHO engine tool kit, and a magnet stick to grab the valve keepers. You'll drive yourself insane trying to use needle nose pliers.

So I am just waiting on my stem seals from RA to finish the car and I am not looking forward to replacing the seals. After removing the cams I almost changed my mind and was just going to do the upper and front 60k.

Ehh.. the most time consuming thing i'd ever done. If its burning oil bad just take the heads off and have someone put new valve guides in.

After removing everything from the car it took me 5-6 hours to replace the valve stem seals. Like YamahaSHO said definately invest in the right tools or you will spend a lot longer to get the job done. Some people have had trouble with getting the keepers back in place but I didn't have much trouble with those except the one I lost. I found that if you try to install both keepers at the same time, they go back in a lot smoother and faster.
