Do you know about www.shotimes.com ? The valve lash adj. is just part of a major scheduled maintenence. If you took it to a dealer (which I would never do) be prepared to be quoted atleast hundreds of $$$.

a valve adjustment at the dealer is more like over $1000. A full blown 60k service for the perfectionist is around $600 in parts.

Do it yourself.....it's not that hard. You can find instructions on my site at:

http://www.kurtmetros.com/valvelash.html

Instructions for the timing belt are at:

http://www.kurtmetros.com/timingbelt.html

Go for it....

Do you guy's want to see how it's done? Mine is due, might as well have an audience. I also have a spare engine to practice on.
