USA Made Rims

I'm pretty sure I'm purchasing a used 2011 with PP. I want some other tires for the winter and have decided to get a new set of rims also. Not quite sure of the tire type/size or the rims--but I definately am dismayed at all the rims on TireRack that are not USA made.

Has anybody had any experience on ordering rims from American Eagle (Boss, MSR, USA Forged).

Or does anyone know of other USA made rims that I could check out + their experience with them?

I've sold American Eagle Wheels for years. I had a set of MSR's on my '92 SHO and loved 'em. They are a good priced wheel for the money. Of course, they can have the downfalls too. But I've sold Asanti's and Lexani's that had issues as well as Weld's, XD's, MotoMetal, Pacer, etc.

A painted wheel seems to be a bit more durable but be prepared to keep up on the polishing and waxing on chrome or polished wheels bud. You can't go wrong though with American Eagle if that's what you like.

I don't think any of the wheels mentioned are made in America. 99.9% are made across the pond.

You are correct. The American Eagle's are the only ones made in the USA that I listed.
