Hello. Purchased a 1998 taurus sho and man I love it. I have had two taurus 1998 se and a 1999 lx but they don't compare with the sho. I installed two super 40 flowmasters on the car the same day I purchased it. Man it sounds sweet. I am installing a cone filter today. How do you change out the stock radio? I have always been able to get a install kit for the other stock radios for the other taurus that I have had but I can't find one for the sho. Any help what be great.

their is no kit for the sho radio. you have to get creative with fiberglass. you may want to rethink the cone filter. the under hood temps of these cars is crazy hot and they need a cold air system. check v8sho.com for all the info youll ever need.

There is a place near me that says they can still get the install kit for the Gen 3.

If someone tells you that you can buy a radio kit for an sho they're smoking pole. Doesn't exist, only a custom unit can be made. Ihave a sho shop cold air kit and it sucks, don't do it man, porterize it. My intake air temp reading in july is about 160

Unless he just looked up taurus and not sho. The lower level taurus that came with the manual controls has a dash kit but yes NOBODY makes a kit for the EATC/radio

Instead of the trunk mounted stock unit, you could try getting creative with the CD changer. Ive seen them routed through the glovebox, under either front seat, and inside of the arm rest.
