Intalled this morning. Seems to works correctly for now. But its chinese and its led (some chinese leds sold for headlights will work only for some months...)

What year is your SHO. The Advertisement states this will work on 1996 thru 1999. I thought for 1999 Ford eliminated the bulb and just went with reflectors or am I thinking about the lights on the inside of the doors.

Seems like that would be a safety factor not having a blinker visible from the side. Reflectors are only used on the rear side markers. I hadn't heard the fronts were backed off to just a reflector. I'd suspect the connector still exists. Worse case, you'd just be recreating the pigtail OEM had for the earlier models.

Front and rear side marker lights are a DOT requirement. You are correct about the door lights.
