Ford should dust off another new SHO and give it to you.
You went against all the economic data and bought a new car in a time when California is going broke. You bought a new, upscale, unproven model (with no history as a guide), putting your faith in the parent company that no matter what happened, they would be able to fix it or make it right with you.
They already have a cam fiasco with the Gen 3 model, you would think they would move quickly to stem any rumours about any issue on the new model.
And this is how you get treated.
Maybe they should do a little less advertising, and work on keeping the customers they have.

It is not throwing codes, that is part of the problem they are having diagnosing it. They have not installed a flight recorder, although I offered that up with me driving it around. It never happened. The reason for the delay is the parts are on back order. I also made a mistake saying today starts week 3... that should read MONDAY starts week 3. Not that it makes much difference.

Although technically I am now beyond the required qualifications for the lemon law, I wanted to take the high road. I am not sure why. This time will be the last however. If this does not fix the problem, I will proceed with getting out of that car, using the lemon law only as a last resort. I know Ford will make it right if I want to get into a different car, so I am not really that concerned about that.

2010 SHO Transmission Issues

I am having the same problems with my SHO. The first time, the wrench light came on. Stopped at a light, then tried to accelerate on green, the engine reved but did not seem to be in gear. Moved very sluggishly, the "D" light went off. Pulled off the road, turned off car, then restarted and it was fine. However over the last 3 or 4 months, similar occurances have happened daily. I drive about 100 miles per day, so there are plenty of chances for the problem to rear it's ugly head. Have had the car in the dealearship twice now with no fix. The first time, they claimed the transmission was low on fluid....this at about 3500 mi. Last time (the car is actually still at the dealer as I write this)...they have no clue.

Same story as others...they cannot replicate the problem, so they aren't trying to fix it.

Another odd problem I have intermittantly (this means almost every day) is the cruise control turns itself off repeatedly while cruising down the highway. I don't have the adaptive cruise. They also cannot fix this. I am about ready to file a complaint under the Lemon law if Ford doesn't step up and fix this expensive brick.
