ok so like i said we agree its a plug. the best they will do is split
the cost $125 ea.waited a week in the mean time i emailed the gen.mgr. of my story he says he will look into it.
i got the tire put on yesterday they charged me $100 instead of $125. i also said to put the bad one in my trunk i will find a rim use it as a spare. so this monring in the light i look the tire over good and it turns out it wasn't a plug just a small torn peice of rubber not a plug that was though the sidewall. none the less i feel i was entitled to a compleat tire. so for $100 im on my way to the spare i wanted anyway....don't get me wrong dealerships still suck. lol

upon farther inspection it was a plug that was later patched from the inside(still a no no) but i think its still good for a spare

My guess is it was a patch/plug done from the inside from the start, but they never should have done it in the sidewall. You’d think somebody that had the equipment to pull a tire off the rim would know that.
