May not be able to make it now. The gas stations around here are running out of gas and I only have 1/2 a tank. I guess we'll see what happens between now and then. :frown:

Why the **** are they running out of gas? Do y'all know something I don't??? I'm planning on stopping by and throwing some CAM-2 in the SHO on the way out there....unleaded 110 for $.25-$.50 more than premium. Screw it..if I'm paying that much, I'm paying for the good chit....

They were running out so fast becasuse everyone was rushing to the gas stations to get gas. This week the gas stations have had nothing but cars there all day long. Bush said today that there are 8 refineries that are not up and running now because of Katrina.

Back in Michigan ... again.
Yessir, absolutely still going on :thumb:

Things officially kick off at noon. We will be grilling and I also believe there will be pizza. Anyone planning to eat will need to pony up $5 for the costs unless you're one of the people bringing food, supplies etc. Paypal Todd at [email protected] or pay on site.

At 2pm I'll be making a short speech that tri-state members will want to hear  AFter the speech I'll move into my portion of the detailing seminar... how to remove scratches and restore the finish on your car with a high speed polishing wheel.

As stated before, there will be lots of entertainment including my GT4 cockpit, and now I'm told there may be a 2nd cockpit as well. Multiple PS2's... could be a LAN battle

I wish gas prices were better; I haven't been out in a couple days but last I knew they were running around $3.20 for 87 octane.

Hope everyone can still make it out!

I keep meaning to ask.....is there a car wash near by? I'm not gonna scrub the beastie just to drive across michigan and dirty her up again, and y'all ain't gonna see her unless she's in all her spledor.

Here's a tip I got from a Corvette guy a couple years ago that I'm going to try out for this trip. Wash your car at home, then put saran style wrap all over the front end. Punch some holes for air flow as needed still, then simply remove the bugs when you arrive at your carshow
