I have a 2012 SHO with a dent in the trunk (deck lid) a guy offered to sell me his deck lid from his 2016 will it fit?

I was also looking to buy a fender and doors off of him will they fit? will all of the body lines match up? will I run into any problems?

If it is possible and someone has pics of any part the got from another year id like to see

Trunk lid should fit but the tail lights are slightly different so you'll have the half on the rear quarter panel with round corners (10-12) and the half on the lid with sharp ones (13+).
The headlights are different so you cannot change the fenders and bumper without replacing the headlights, hood and grille

No structural/body design changes with the doors.

Only minor interior changes to window switch and door lock assemblies.

Yeah the 2010-2012 cars are technically Gen 4 SHO cars. The 2013+ are Gen 5 SHO. Even though they look similar at a glance...they are not.

Which "guy"?

And SM105k is correct.

If your old doors did not have heated mirrors, then the functionality of heated mirrors alone (even if the new doors had them) would not function.

The wiring in the loom woukd be missing and/or the harness itself wouldn't have the right pin connector to make them function.

Physically though, the mirror assembly itself, and the 3 bolts that are used to affix it to the door/the car are all the same.

So YES! The door(s) and the mirror(s) will bolt on/line up and still have the physical appearances of the GEN4.

I work an 12hr overnight shift, so didn't get back to you after your last question as I had fallen asleep.

I speak as someone that's never been inside of my door... but... from a production and logistics standpoint it seems quite improbable that they would make separate body wiring harnesses for heated/non-heated mirrors. Within the doors themselves I could imagine things being missing but a full door swap takes that out of the equation.

I'm working with a 2016 wiring diagram which may or may not match your 2012 (I have no idea), so do your own research and use this for informational purposes only:

On the "car" side of the drivers door 59-pin main harness connector, there should be 3 solid gray wires. You're looking for the one more towards the middle, pin #23. With a meter placed between pin #23 and either of the solid black ground wires (pin 31 or 38), you should pick up 12 volts when the rear defrosters are turned on. If you do then I would expect the heated mirrors to work on the new doors. Obviously if there's no wire on pin #23 then you're SOL. Again, this assumes no wiring or pinout differences between the model years. Oh and make sure there's a 15A fuse in slot #50 of the underhood fuse block before testing!

I have seen this before in same generation cars like the 13+ SHO's. I know most wiring across those years are the same. However, the 2010-2012 SHO and 2013+ SHO are very different. So they might not have the same wiring, so it something really look into.

That being said my SHO didn't come factory with Navigation. I have the window sticker, it was not an optioned. However that doesn't mean that hardware and software weren't there. While at the Ford Dealer I ask if they could activate it. They said yes but for some stupid amount. I did some research and I hacked it with Forscan and spent $48 for a SD Nav card. I have now Navigation for 1/10th the price.

I have the same situation with my ST. I doesn't have a back up camera. However, it has the connectors in the wire harness in the rear. I just need the camera and then to use Forscan to activate it.

Just like some cars have "high performance" factory option$ that literally do nothing other than allow the throttle to open the rest of the way

That is what is awesome about tuning devices, Forscan, ect.......

We can see the B.S., and we can do something about it now.
