I found a way to easily remove the CID a couple years back. This was primarily used for the 'rear' bolt on the cam sensor, but this method can be used for the 'front' bolt as well using the swivel.
NOTE:This applies only to MTX cars. However, I have done this on an ATX as well(see pics/descriptions)
What you'll need:
1/4'' drive
1/4'' extensions- the longer the better (you'll need at a minimum, 2-6'')
1/4''- 5/32
1/4'' swivel (front bolt/ATX)
NOTE:If your car is lowered, you may need to slightly jack the passenger side up.

For the ATX, you'll need to use the swivel as the motor sits farther forward. However, the CID on the ATX is easier to get to, so it's up to you if you want to use this method on an ATX.
