Ok i'm about 98% sure i want to buy the tweecer and use it has my tuning tool for my new motor, instead of my LPM. But i was looking around for it. And i found that Mikey had it and so does Josh. So here is my question. Mikey lists his as a tweecer. And his unit is $380.00. And then Josh list his for $550.00. But he calls his the Tweecer RT is there any difference between Mikey's and Josh's unit?

Thanks

I am pretty sure that you can get either model from either source these days. I could be wrong though.

The RT has real time data acquisition when you add in a wide band O2 sensor and plug in a laptop.

For more details, check this out. Louis did a nice write up with more of the details.

I really think it is pointless to get it without having the capability to data log.... OKAY, so it's not really pointless, but the data logging ability has really helped me out. It will get even better when my wide band arrives.

Glen, did you get my e-mail with the MAF curve?

This is probably a pretty dumb question, but do you need a laptop in order to use the tweecer, or do you only need the laptop for the RT version? And what if I dont entirely know what I'm doing with tuning, is there a chance I could damage something with the wrong settings?

No, you don't need a laptop... Only if you want to data log(which is the only way you can really tune). Yes, you could damage something... but you'd have to make some pretty drastic changes. Before tuning, you should do some research so that you are comfortable.
