my slotted rotors from my 96 upgrade gathered some rust from dis use for a few months, can i throw them on the brake lathe and just take off a couple thousanths to clean them up? i've heard yes and no on turning slotted rotors with a brake lathe, and am curious to your guy's opinions. :thumb:

this might be a dumb question but how bad is the rust, why dont you jsut go beat on the brakes a little bit? If it was only a few months its probably just surface rust. It should ocme off pretty easy the first few time you hit the brakes.:thumb:

I used a pair of 96 rotors that had been left around for a year of so. A couple of good stops and they were pretty again.
