Right now when i tried to start it, to park it in its place i was cranking it and even without the key in the ignition, it was still cranking for a few seconds. i could not get the car on even by jumpstarting it.

where is that starter solenoid located, and would that also cause the car to turn off after 15 min?

Not necessarily but the solenoid for the starter should be on the drivers side fender by the strut mount. It looks like a little black square box kind with little terminals sticking out of it. The other issue sounds like a bad crank sensor to me.

Currently i get no spark to a brand new coil. is this a possible symptom of a bad cam sensor or crank sensor? or both?
