I've been thinking of going to the next level with the BIG SHO.. Over the past few years did all
the bolt on goodies except the turbo's.. I achieved the my personal goal stock turbo full weight
11 seconds... So now that i'm ready to pull the trigger can't get any turbo's. There saying couple
months out. I guess i will wait patiently till they come available.. Was really looking to surprise some
of those imports out there this spring..

I'm currently seeing what compturbo and turbo bay can do with our stockers. GH seems to be the go to but I'm interested what these guys can do within the same costs of GH upgrade.

Any of you interested in buying my Gen3R turbos dm me. Ceramic coated and ported. $ave and keep your cores. I never ran them. They have maybe 300 miles? @Jordan_R sold them to me. I’m going to do custom turbos and no longer plan to use them. Edit: Sold! A305674C C18E 4FC0 8542 358FE6ABE871027AA76D 6562 40E1 88F5 94DE808116B0F71EB7F7 731F 4632 9C73 90B2318932BA

My 2013 Taurus SHO w/PP has yet to come out of the shop this winter, so once the car is drivable again, I will let you know how well the modifications worked. The turbochargers were sent to CR Performance Engineering for upgrade. CR is located in Quebec, Canada, so with the US$ at a 30% premium, there might be a good deal. A TI Automotive F90000274 Fuel Pump was squeezed into the fuel tank. And, the engine got larger injectors and a HPFP from XDi. For the last month we have been stuck waiting for a software patch from HP Tuning to reveal two tables needed to operate the HPFP.

Try BNR turbos. They do hood work and the cost is reasonable. I believe their site is BNRsupercars

Been there. After asking if they could upgrade to billet instead of cast he uses, and improve turbine side, all correspondence ceased on their end.

Gh has all you need without reinventing the wheel.
Decided to go with Turbo Bay. Good options and for core and upgrade, comes to roughly $2,600, same I would have paid GH. I'm keeping my stockers. They only retain and upgrade housings, all guts are new. Which CR does not do unless there is a necessity per their response to me inquiring, which doesn't sit well with me. Mat at Turbo Bay explained it's the only way he does turbos, no matter the miles or condition, only builds them with new parts. All goes well it's another good choice for our platform.

Put up some pictures and measurements on the inside of the intake when you get them.

What company told you a couple months out? I can't seem to get lead times from GH so, hoping to narrow the list down.

I got an email from Gearhead that their turbos are back in stock. I made the inquiry four months ago, completely forgot. Got behind on ordering Turbo Bay replacements, just ordered last week. Heart is keeping me from my hobby lol. Or it's my hobby screwing with my heart, definitely getting screwed on my wallet. But order is in, and can't wait. Still keeping my stockers just because his core charge is reasonable.

what hp tuners are you using? Xdi wouldn’t work with us on the mpvi2, unfortunately

You possibly going to crack one open so we can see the guts and wheels? Curious too what did you decide to go with for turbine wheel?

That sucks, I got my EVO through Brad, so fortunately he had revisions ready for me to load before I even installed pump.

Yeah I’ve heard a lot of great things from brad and hope he has extra time next season I would love to work with him on my build, I have the xdi35 and the mpvi2, so I can not speak on the ngauge , xdi said they will not work with hp tuners due to its open source nature, I am unsure if ngauge and the mpvi2 share the same software but the consensus was to go sct, brad eventually stopped responding after I got the car rebuilt unfortunately, so I went with gearhead for now which I’ve heard is the next best bet sense I already had purchased a x4 after the xdi hpt fiasco

I'm very happy with the upgrade!! Brad took the time do dial them in
explaining every move.. His closing sentence was; You have a stock bottom
end, you have fuel, cooling, how far do you want to go?? So i'm leaving it
conservative.. It runs 11.80's in crappy air we will see what it does this fall..
Good Luck with your build..
