Do they offer better seals than stock. Mine is starting to smoke and dont plan on going bigger turbo's but do plan on while changing seals putting in billet wheels. Thanks guys cars has 55,000 mils and a free flowing exhaust and noticed a leak on the rear turbo when I got the car.

Better seals than OEM, I'd have to say yes. However, I'm not 100% sure that the seals are 'different' than the OEM.

I've heard nothing, but good things about the ATP billet upgrades. All freshly machined and new assembly, but again...they are from older housings, just 'freshened up'. It would only make sense that the seals be upgraded as well.

Sorry I'm unable to supply the direct answer you're after, but I'm sure someone will chime in and either add to what I stated, or correct it.

I believe the ATP is quite the project though as you need more fuel delivery, etc so there's additional mods and not just a simple swap of your turbos. However, there is someone who re-manufactures the stock turbos and makes them deliver power but I cannot recall who it is and I'm kicking myself because that's the route I want to go shortly - this is the simple swap.

the ATP turbos do simply swap in. All you need to do is update the tune.
This is correct info.

There is nothing major about swapping in the ATP's over any other after market product.

No extra fueling necessary either. I should know, I was the 2nd to run the ATP's for this platform, and I am still on stock fuel set up.

The other company offering aftermarket turbo upgrades that I am aware of (besides ATP) is Tial Motorsports.

They're not "as involved " as the re-work that ATP employs.

Do not need a dyno. LME has the data they need to update your tune "remotely". Now as to whether the cost is covered under the terms of the tune(s) you purchased, I am not sure. Typically a turbo upgrade is considered a "major" change, and that used to cost extra in the past.

Im Having problems with all the top tuners with just a free flowing exhaust let alone some upgraded turbo's you dont add meth to these cars for added fuel its like there is no other way. Im hoping one of them can get this thing right I gave up one Livernois when they told me it didnt need to be retuned for a exhaust and I couldn't GO WOT with out the car breaking up. Unleashed had it running pretty strong but was looking forward to running a Blend tune but started running into fuel issues with 93 so im now working with Brew City Boost. I see a lot of these piggy back fuel systems for all other ecoboost cars but ours would be nice if they made them for us.

On the turbo upgrade I was looking at that by ECOpowerParts.com I was going to get just the billet wheel and do it myself and try and find some better seals but the luck im having with fuel im not doing anymore till at least 93 gets in chech and id like to see a Blend in it and down the track for some good times.

Has anyone used a boost-a-pump on these cars? Thanks guys

BAP on a Flex, yes, did help somewhat. EcoBrick Bob.

Free-flowing exhaust? Custom or Corsa/Borla/Magnaflow/??? What is the backpressure?

I think EcoBrick Bob saw an average increase of around 200psi with the BAP... it wasn't enough to justify the costs I think was the conclusion...

Custom tried both true duals then went to a 3inch not much back pressure pretty free flowing!! The car on 93 unleashed tune felt strong but was running out of fuel thought he was going to ajust it but then switch to BCB. Torrie sent me a weaker tune to run and data log and send back I put it on the car and havent had the time or weather to data log ot yet.

Hows it going guys, has anyone dove a little further into the turbo upgrades? just wondering, weve been looking at this market and trying to get a feel for what the end users are looking for.
Thanks for the time and space!

I know people already upgraded turbos with either ATP turbos and there's another company that rebuilds stock turbos producing more power than stock obviously.
Everyone is always looking for more options, pricing, power levels, ease of install, tune friendly, etc.

Cool I appreciate that. Well we have a couple of options if anyone is interested. im not familiar with the rules of this forum but maybe if someone is interested they can msg me for options as this is an interesting market with cars already performing really well.

2nd owner on record of the ATP +2 Turbo's.

Loving 'em and they've produced platform 1st's as far as power and speed records.

I'm confident there's a market for the upgrades and hopefully those interested, will chime in/pipe up accordingly.

Good luck with the venture!

One thing to keep in mind... with the stock turbos you can push 440/440 to the wheels...

LMS and others who have pushed these engines that far all say that once you get pass those 440/440 figures you should really start looking at building the bottom of the engine.

Not to start a war, but something to keep in mind.

I think there is plenty of interest out there, not only here but across the ecoboost community, which includes a whole bunch of F-150's an those 4x4 guys always seem to have money to spend. I am not sure where I stand, an upgraded turbo would be nice, but I'm still a big fan of dependability not sure if I really want more boost, but a better built turbo or colder air etc, I would be a big fan of.

That sounds good guys and thanks for the replies. We are offer billet compressor wheel upgrades at the moment and have setup for the complete compressor and turbine wheel upgrade (machined housings etc) when you guys are close to pulling the trigger keep us in mind. We would love to make a big footprint in this community applying the technology weve used for years on traditional style turbochargers into oem upgrades!
