Has anyone on here put a supercharger or turbo or some kind of big power adder to their SHO?? I am just curious cause atleast where I am from not many people know what a SHO is and it would be kinda neat to just blow peoples doors off with a Taurus.

Guess what **** I did search and either the search function is down currently or it wasnt working properly. So if you want to be a dick dont bother answering. I post on 3 different automotive forums and have well over 3K posts on each and until now had been really proud of how well people were treated on this one. So let me guess....dont answer next time if thats all you have to say.

Nick, be cool man, be cool, he's new here...

Red neck, chill out. Your not making a good start on here.

But to answer your question, yes, there are a handful of people that have F/I SHO's.

I'm REALLY sorry but I laughed so hard when I read the OP's post. Is that bad?

Redneck, no worries, man. There's a whole section of the forum dedicated to S/C and Turbo setups. Two guys local to me both have supercharged cars pushing 385hp at the wheel. Very impressive, and very sleeper. As you search the FI section you'll notice there are weak points in the cars that become weaker when you boost. Just an FYI... BTW, welcome to the forum. There's lots of veterans here that are full of info. You might take a ragging now and then, but don't let that chase you away. It blows over real fast. What car do you have, anyway?

Yeah sorry when I had first tried to go into that section on the forum it would not let me in kept giving me an error so I thought that it was not working section. And I just dont appreciate people getting smart especially when I am almost brand new to the SHO world, been around mustangs and ford trucks forever just a new world. I have a 91 SHO with the five spd its actually a pretty clean car for the year.

Boost + SHO = FAIL!

Hahahaha, you have got to be kidding right? I think you meant to type: Boost done incorrectly or without spending more than the cost of a set of fart cans + SHO = Fail

Done correctly, like you would if you were serious, the SHO motor will outlast any motor. BTDT.

I don't get this thread. The car has a supercharger from the factory, why are you even asking if it's been done? The owners manaul clearly states that the supercharger oil needs to be changed every now and again.

this is how I did it

-two old oil cans
-a dozen pringle cans (empty)
-shop vac and inverter
-a gallon of turbo oil
-3 rolls of duct tape

You can actually do it with out the duct tape but why half ass it... right?

It may sound complicated but it really only goes together one way. If it takes more then a case of beer to figure it out then try another case. :nut:

If you want to ruin a pair of pants check out youtube for sho turbo... watching a grocery getter leave a shiny vette behind is inspiring. These guys know these cars and it's a great place for help if your a new owner.
