Your car is fast Mike. Honestly. But I really wasent that suprised, as far as what Ive been hearing about it. I was basically told that this car will dominate all. Well I can safely say that there is 2 in Oconomowoc that would give you a run for your money. So besides trying to run the Turbo SHO again "since they live 15 hours or so away, for a 12 or so second race" why dont we set up a race with another Camaro for ya?

okay okay. I am going to put the footage up today at lunch. and too bad about racing, cause we do live like 18 hrs away. however, next time, sure that car was pretty fast. lol. but i think a 3rd to 4th gear pull would leave us winning. but yeah, that thing jumps off the line pretty damn fast. *gears* *cough* *cough* lol.

Ashely's car may make 400ft lbs or whatever, but probably not as broad and flat, as well as down low, like the LS1.

jcosworth drives an LS1 Camaro with all the bolt on goodies.. cammed, LS6 intake, etc. etc. etc. 11sec car.

yeah it was pretty rediculous fast. lol. BUT the videos are of us and the GTO racing. not of the camaro. and we are so catching the camaro. we never raced out of 2nd gear. never made it through 3rd. would love a full length rematch.

Hmm, I have seen a few dyno sheets of cammed LS1's, and raced one similar to the one above. Brake boost the turbo SHO FTW!! And while a turbo SHO will never have TQ as low down in the RPM range as a worked LS1, the area under the relative curves should be similar. FWIW, on my old setup, the car made more TQ throughout the rev range relative to a stockish C5 Z06. And that car made less power than Ashleys. So yeah, you should race him again Ashley. Can't let those pesky LS1's push us around!!

yes NC as you understand how HWY 100 is fun to cruise but so packed that races last maby 1-3 seconds lol
