Hey guys need some help, my wife and I was going to church Sunday in the 2010 SHO, and suddenly I get the oil warning light about two miles away from church. We made it to church and noticed smoke coming from underneath the car and oil pouring out from beneath the motor . I let it set and checked the oil which it was barely touching the stick . I went and purchased two quarts of oil poured it in, started it up and noticed it was running back out . Had it towed to the shop and the mechanic stated that a hose that goes from the turbo to block had busted . What will be the time , money and parts process for this repair, or is there something else to look for concerning the oil leak . Thanks

Parts 10-13. Part 10 and 11 are turbo specific. I personally would buy both and two sets of 12 and 13 and have both of the oil drain lines replaced. As you can see the parts are cheap. I wouldn't imagine the labor would be more than a couple of hours.

I went through this scenario at around 80K miles. The oil line had rusted. It was still under warranty, but this bit wasn't covered. It would have been had I blown up the turbo, but I wasn't going that route!!

Anyway, it ended up costing me around $750. No issues since.

Honestly, I don't even know!! The SHO and the EcoSport are my only cars I don't do my own wrenching on since they're both under warranty. I have two V8 MGBs, three F350s, two F450s, and three Harleys to wrench on, so it's not like I need something to do. :D
