Now for first impressions. Best term is WOW. I went from a car which would squeek a tire on launch to one which has some trouble finding traction on launch and on the 1-2 shift. It will be interesting to see what it will do at US131 motorsports park.

It ran 13.42 stock there in 41 degree air and did not spin at all on launch.
Now I just hope the driveline is up to the beating it receives when 4 wheels are trying to find traction. Feels like sone wheel hop is occuring.

AS for normal in-traffic driving car is very easy to drive and the tightened shifts are still quite smooth. I don`t see any reason to remove the tune untill the worst of winter driving arrives. Then the quicker shifts if on packed snow or ice could be a negative factor. I`ll just have to see then.

I1ll get to the track in the next couple of weeks and run tuned and stock for comparison.

OOPS the pounding I heard and felt was the traction control trying to control the wheelspin `cause I didn`t turn it off on the launch.

Great! So far, everyone says the tune is worth it.

I had my `11 stang v6 vert tuned and the difference was very noticable. Shifts were much firmer and throttle response was much better. 1/4 mile times were about .3 sec better with almost 2 mph improvement.

The difference in the SHO tune is MUCH more. While the ease of driving in traffic is better than the tuned stang, the wot improvement is, well, WOW better. While I don`t really know, I assume the boost has been raised at least a little.

The real proof will be on the strip and I hope to get there within the next couple weeks. I`ll run stock and tuned and then I`ll really know what the improvement is.

If you ultimately are going to go beyond a tuner & canned tunes, Torrie is easier to work with in that regard, and you won't be needing to take your car to Detroit to be fine tuned on Livernois dyno. Believe Torrie is usually a cheaper source for the tuner and basic tune package as he runs specials quite regularly.

But.. you can't go wrong with either Torrie or Livernois.

Thanks Bob. Customer service is what I expect from a tuner, sounds like Torrie might be the guy I'm looking for.

Torrie is top notch in the comunication department. He emails back almost immediately when contacting him. If he can't help you right away, he'll get back to you as soon as he can get you what you need.

Tunes for Sale

Hey Bob,
I have both Livernois Tunes and Unleashed Tunes here for the SHO. I traded the SHO in this week. Since the tunes don't all fit on the tuner at one time do you have any suggestion on how to sell them?

Thanks

Unless the buyer has the same strategy code in his EB vehicle, Livernois and Torrie will have to revise them to match the new owners strategy code. I doubt that they will do that for free. Guess you can ask though.

You can sell your SCT Tuner separately, and the purchaser will then be able to purchase tunes.

Sorry...
