Now for first impressions. Best term is WOW. I went from a car which would squeek a tire on launch to one which has some trouble finding traction on launch and on the 1-2 shift. It will be interesting to see what it will do at US131 motorsports park.
It ran 13.42 stock there in 41 degree air and did not spin at all on launch.
Now I just hope the driveline is up to the beating it receives when 4 wheels are trying to find traction. Feels like sone wheel hop is occuring.
AS for normal in-traffic driving car is very easy to drive and the tightened shifts are still quite smooth. I don`t see any reason to remove the tune untill the worst of winter driving arrives. Then the quicker shifts if on packed snow or ice could be a negative factor. I`ll just have to see then.
I1ll get to the track in the next couple of weeks and run tuned and stock for comparison.
OOPS the pounding I heard and felt was the traction control trying to control the wheelspin `cause I didn`t turn it off on the launch.
