Got a reply from Livernois to my pre-tune email to them. Say`s 24 to 48 hour turnaround. Business days I assume. Probably be Tue or wed. for the tunes.

To me, that's unacceptable. You pay $600 and you don't have the tune the same day? Absolutely unacceptable.

That surprises me about Livernois. When I bought their tunes I got them almost immediately... Of course Rick was still handling the Ford stuff then... Not sure if Andy or someone else is now handling the internet sales for Livernois.

Torrie @ Unleashed Tuning is the most responsive person I have ever dealt with. I purchased my SCT Tuner from him, simply because he was the first that I could find that offered EB Tunes, back in early 2010. Later Livernois got into the EB tuning with the SCT. In the last couple years they went with another brand, because they were able to tune the Pickups, and later the 2013 SHO and other Ford/Lincoln 2013 cars with it. Believe that now SCT Tuners can handle Pickups and 2013 cars. Torrie is cheaper and he has never let me down... I also have him tuning one of my G8's that has turned a 12.07... Great guy... almost immediate turnaround... Fantastic tuner... AMEN!

But.. can't go wrong with either one...

Email was from Andy who said he would forward to tuning dept. I guess at 71 years of age I am not as impatient as some. I can wait a day or two with no problem here. I visited unleashed`s web site and found very little info about what tunes offered or what is claimed. Most info I have seen on forums has been on Livernois. Same with youtube. I have seen your results and they are impressive.

To me, when I buy performance parts, I expect same day results. Why couldn't they get your ECM info when you order it and send the tuner already programmed for your car? That's how it's done anywhere else.

Not always. When I first got the Mustang tuned I received the tuner and then submitted my info by email. The first time there was about 36 hours before I got the tunes. After I was established I then got the tunes almost immediately. That was thru Bama and AM. Besides, I would really have someone at least look at my car`s info before sending the tunes.

You're 71 years young... But I'm a kid... only 67!:thankyou:

Andy runs the shop at Livernois. Suppose he is also handling internet sales with Rick having left. I have dealt with him on my 08' G8 early on. Bought a Powerbond underdrive pulley and belt thru him. Belt was wrong one. While they gave me credit for it after I sent it back at my expense, my installer had to determine which size to get locally and purchase it, so it cost me an extra $50.+ for Andy's mistake. He blamed Powerbond, but even if they were at fault... it was my pocketbook that paid for it.

Tunes have arrived and are in tuner now. I am in process of mowing lawn. When I finish I`ll install and see what I have.
I do know I really do like this SHO even stock. 13.42 @ 103 is nothing to look down on for a stock car that was 4335 lbs on Martin scales without my 195.
