Tube subframe should I build one ( not connectors)

I am going to cap mine... Being uncapped has allowed them to start rusting. Gotta clean them out first.

which is safer a cup-design subframe or ring-style? i just want to make sure i don't crash this one. :D :D

Jason,

Be sure to drill weep holes at the front and back if you cap both ends. If you don't they will rust out faster. BTW - did you paint them??

Paint on the outside really works wonders. Maybe a good spraywand and some corrosion resistant paint/coating sprayed inside could help. A weep hole or two would sure help. Just make sure the holes get a coat of something.

My I suggest the usage of POR? It's great for bare metals and the underside of your car. I'm planning this for my '89 as the CA cars dont have enough protection below the waist! headbang
