Recently the trunk for my 95 SHO wont open. I've tried the interior release located next to the driver's seat & got nothing. The key in the trunk itself will not turn or give any result. I also tried using the keyless entry system to unlock it only to hear the release being activated but the trunk remaining locked and closed. Anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks for the help.

I would try pushing down (or maybe pull up) while someone else pulls the latch inside the car. I believe if its too tight, the latch will not let go of the trunk.

Cant hurt trying...

I believe the lever is unlocked. I tried putting the key in and turning the lock on the lever & the key would not turn. Does that mean it's unlocked?

The key should turn in the lock no matter what...if you press the silver circle down it locks...and when you turn the key, it pops back up unlocking it.

FYI...
