Took the intake off of my 92 mtx and had another engine that I pulled apart and painted the intake on. Trying to reinstall and having a **** of a time getting it to bolt up to the engine. seems to be a little tight, even with new gaskets installed. This is my second attempt and I'm starting to get ******! Seems like it should be easier than this! I thought about loosening the rubber runner connections, but it's really the bolted connections to the secondaries that stiffen the whole assembly it seems, and you can't tighten the lower bolts once the intake is on! Please give a brother a hint... Going nuts!

Try loosening the rubber couplins, that really helps, then kinda push down switching sides of the intake to try and get it to seat.

Loosen the rubber runner connectors - that helps things move around so that the bolts align properly.

Thanks...

I'll give it a shot... thought about this then after studying thougth that the real limiting factor is the runners and their bolt up to the tanks... but I'll give it a shot- at this point I'll try anything. Well, almost anything. Must be related to getting the intake back on!
